This nine-year-old lives in Brooklyn with her family, and is already well on her way to being a design, illustration and style superstar.
“Clementine is a terrific illustrator,” her mom, Jessie Randall, told Refinery29. “But she can also sew really well. She loved one of my Marni coats so much, she made her own mini version from remnant fabric from her sewing class….and it’s really good!!”
Clem's dream is to one day sit front row at the shows in Europe. She loves Dior ("I like that it’s designed by a woman,” she said), Gucci, Jacquemus, and Raf Simmons, who is her favorite. Until she makes it to her dream shows, though, Refinery29 gave her a chance to sketch out her favorite looks from this year's Spring/Summer collections.
She drew this look from Prada, which she loved because it "was really girly with jewels, feathers, shiny fabric…you know, everything a girl would ever want to wear kind of threw up all over the runway." Love it.
She also sketched out this look from Gucci, who she love "100%!" Her favorite thing about it? "The way [Alessandro Michele] layers and mixes prints is really cool and sophisticated and it's very girls-with-an-edge. And it's VERY fun and it makes me happy,” she said.
She's also great at sketching out structured looks, as evidenced by this recreation of Delpozo...
...and this one of Jacquemus, which loved because it made the model look "like a fantasy power woman." We agree.
